i'm writing a chapter of a story

Jac gave my arm a squeeze.
" what is it? " i asked.
" look at that cute guy over there! " she squealed.
" so what? i'm not interested in him, but you are! " i teased.
Jac blushed, giggled and pushed me into class.
today was the start of my high school year,
Jac and me had been bestfriends ever since 7 years old
and we are attending the same high school, i'm glad about that.
at least there is someone who will be with me on the first day
of school, if she isn't, i hope i won't be dork walking around
the school aimlessly, asking for directions. Jac knew the way
round the school as her older brother study here.
" there's two empty seats over at that corner! " Jac said
pointing to the seats. we quickly sat down and started chatting.
" you think there will be any cute or handsome guys in our class? "
Jac pondered, obviously thinking of guys again.
" who knows? maybe yes maybe no, doesn't affect me either. "
i shrugged and lay my head down on the table.
" oh come one Zynn! this year will be the year we start dating! "
Jac cheered. i remained unaffected by her cheer and continued
lying on the desk. " you're so weird Zynn! " she groaned.
" yeah, isn't that the reason we're bestfriends? " i laughed.
Jac started laughing with me but we stopped when the
teacher came in. " morning class! " the teacher clapped her hands
for attention. " morning teacher! " the class greeted. " i'm ms. beth,
students call me ms. B " she smiled. i examined the ms. B,
she wore a long sleeved white blouse with a jeans and black shoes.
i have to admit, her outift does go well with her hair, which is brown
and wavy. " let's start introducing ourselves! my full name is
beth nave, age 23, studied science in university. " ms. B announced.
just then, a boy knocked on the door, panting heavily. " s-sorry
te-acher... i'm l-late.. i'm s-sorry.. i r-rushed here as f-fast as i
could already... " he panted. " oh, its okay come in! you must have
gotten lost in the school! " ms. B replied. the boy scanned the class
for an empty seat and saw the empty seat on my left.
he started to walk towards me, i looked at him.
he's a guy taller than me, black hair hazel eyes and our eyes locked.
i shifted my gaze and he smiled and sat down beside.
" hi, nice to meet you! i'm Patch kennedy." he held out his hand to me.
" oh, hi i'm Zynn liddon, nice to meet you too" i shook his hand.
